I'll probably post about it later,
but my answer is: I didn't bond with the design. The mix of sporty (pilot style, lume) and dressy (rose gold, faceted lugs), which I have nothing against on paper, didn't feel convincing to me in the metal (it felt contradictory).
And the decoration of the main plate on the back felt too "decorative"...
Just my personal feeling, of course.

There are 3 chronographs that are at the very top of my wishlist: - Mathey Tissot type xx - Tudor 7169 - Speedmaster 145 012 It may be the time to get one of them. But which one? Which one would be your choice? ...
All are great vintage chronographs.
Of the three my choice would be the Mathey Tissot Type XX as I just think it looks the best of the three, Marc

I would have answered "Type XX",
but I tried the new Breguet recently and was underwhelmed. So, maybe the no date Speedmaster or the Tudor because of its original design. I don't have a clear preference here. Best, Emmanuel
Can I ask why you were disappointed?
That's the difficulty when you live in a remote area like me. It's difficult to test. I tried a Breguet Type XX and wasn't bowled over. I must admit, I attributed that to the condition of the watch. 🤔
