There are 3 chronographs that are at the very top of my wishlist: - Mathey Tissot type xx - Tudor 7169 - Speedmaster 145 012







It may be the time to get one of them. But which one? Which one would be your choice?

The Tudor is too busy for me.

Of the three my choice would be the Mathey Tissot Type XX as I just think it looks the best of the three,

And that should be perfect for your wrist. 

But I get your point

I don’t intend to drive at 200 mph but it’s good to know that the car has been engineered to do it.

They are supercool. Just need to remember to wind it! 

I have manual winding watches and I'm fine with it

but I really like them anyway. 38.5 mm for both.






William Massena put these out not too long ago.

It imitates a faded brown dial. I understand he (William Massena) has an original like that.

But not the same charm as the vintage one

I agree.

Although Ive had some bad experiences with vintage watches. Pieced together, unoriginal parts, dial problems, hand problems, difficulty finding a competent watchmaker to fix them and too many unscrupulous dealers hiding stuff that I found out afterwards just to name a few. 👍 Of course there are some very good dealers and legitimate watches out there as well.
