The Seamaster (300m and PO) have eclipsed the Sub in a lot of ways. The Globemaster is the unsung and under rated (esp. In platinum) treasure…I would say competitor to the Rolex Presidential…I purchased the GSOTM to fill a sober business role but wonder if the Globemaster might be better suited.

Sub is a very robust and reliable watch. But in terms of design, i much prefer seamaster.
You should try the Globemaster. The case execution is way above its price category. And the pie pan dial is mesmerizing.

I aspire to a two-watch collection. But who am I kidding? Maybe someday I can reduce it to six. Maybe.
Six watches will be very ideal for me.
2 watches for daily beater 2 watches for formal (dressy ones) 2 watches foe sport and casual. So if one of those 2 watches is in for service, i still have the other one for back up.

The Globemaster is IMO very underrated. Have looked at it a few times. Fully agree that it works best on a strap.
I think this is a nice and stylish two-watch collection!
And would feel comfortable with this for myself! However, currently I am quite fickle with watche I wear, even changing them 2-3 times a day (work, riding, home, and night time wear 😆).
