But man, I didn’t expect to see some of his killer pieces like the limited edition VC overseas, a calendar Patek (perpetual? Sorry I don’t know these models), but I was also really surprised how much I liked the Tudor in Carbon, I would wear this Tudor.
Then, Jon was a great host and took me to Bond st. (among others) and we did some window shopping; I saw a Zeitwerk I wouldn’t mind taking home..
Finally, for dessert, outside of the great gelato, I saw a delicious sandblasted IWC perpetual that I would def wear as a daily.
Okay, now the long trip trip home to the States!

It was a 2018 limited edition of 38 for the VC Zurich boutique at 38 Bahnhof Strasse.
There’s a time and date version as well.

It’s one of my most accurate watches, seemingly varying less than a second a day. Impressive for a 25 year old watch with a Valjoux 7750 base (albeit recently serviced in Schaffhausen). All the best, Jon
I could say the same of my older Panerai and others 7750s, that keep excellent accuracy, even after 20 years without a service…
I cannot say that of several so called Manufacturing Calibers of various brands…
