Eberhard made some amazing manufacture chronographs
The one you show is not that old and probably has a Lemania inside. Older ones had manufacture movements, like the one below. It was the first chronograph (calibre 310-82) with digital date (single disc). A lot of people think that the Landeron 189 was the first digital date (single disc) chronograph, which is not true. By the way, the first double disc (big date) chronograph was the Angélus calibre 252 (see below). Best, Goldenlutin

In my opinion, this rough, "bare-bones" movement is an insult to the wonderfully elegant appearance of the whole watch. I think that a solid caseback would have been a much better choice. Marcus

As a side note, the Chrono4 is based on the ETA2896, not 7750
The Chrono4 module sits on an ETA 2892 not on the 7750. The rest is a matter of taste. At least they achieved a unique look with the Chrono4, which is better then nothing. Best, Goldenlutin
