... those two are very different - I think the price difference explains itself since the RO comes on bracelet and the VC does not. Here\'s a better picture of the VC: Very close to the VC Overseas Deep Stream, which I owned for a while and enjoyed a lot....  

Can\'t go wrong either way but since you already have a 15202 going VC seem sensible perhaps?

The overseas chrono vs. ROC is an interesting matchup that illustrates a basic principle of WISdom. Brands are known and recognized for certain watches and it is best and safest to stick to the iconic models from each brand. In AP's case its the Royal Oak... 

but i can tell you that the bleu dial of the AP is absolut breathtaking..

But one thing for sure is that if you MISS the VC, you might have hard time finding it again, given the limited edition of 340 pieces while the RO chrono should be available in reasonable quantity. Good luck and let us know which way you go!

Why? Because I've always thought the Vacheron Overseas Chronograph has an awkward design. I feel VC tries to be "sporty" with this sports watch but it still looks very conservatively designed. - Anthony

Here is what is not commonly known. Both of these watches use the Blancpain 1185 chronograph movement. Of course Vacheron adds a large date in place of the standard small date. Otherwise they are the same.

The AP on the bracelet seems less versatile for various occasions.

I like its blue dial and I'm not a fan of the date window on the Vacheron. Having said that, you can't be wrong with any. Fx
