Complex question

Here are the brands I had purchased from and some interactions with and some thoughts
- JLC: used to have more wonderful creations but company is changed now. Had terrible horrible experience with the Navy Seals Alarm bezel falling off and them not replying to my email after it happened a 2nd time after repair. They shirked responsibility. I bought the Geophysic from them, and all was ok. It’s a mix bag brand I really like, but some annoyances. They used to have great events when Jerome Lambert was the head.
- Omega: no complaints only compliments. Top notch after-sales. Repair time is quick, even for full movement cleaning and polishing. Great. Applies to other Swatch group watches too like Longines because they often share the same service networks. My sister broke her Legend Diver crown by her own negligence. They actually taught her how to properly use the crown, and replaced it for free.
- Grand Seiko: never again. Full stop. I don’t like the feeling of being betrayed by puffs. Exclusive to USA editions being released to the world, untrained and unethical salespeople in the boutique in Sydney. They are only nice to you to clinch the deal, and then if things happen, they don’t really bother (oh this customer is such an annoyance). Don’t believe me please try it - buy an exclusive edition from them. They will disappoint you the next year by releasing it to the world.=D would love to love them, have tried but no it cannot work out.
-AP: A little snobby but they get the job done if u can afford it.
top notch after sales delivery.
-Tag Heuer: good service and repair warranty. No fuss
- Rolex: top notch aftersales service centres only if they are available in your district. Some ADs will not take in Rolexes for repair, which is strange.
So to sum up my thoughts. I think I’d value Omega highly, Rolex and AP and Tag Heuer too. JLC not so due to inconsistent service and my bad experience which lasts a lifetime. GS no no no…i get trauma from hearing that brand.
