But probably not straightforward unless one starts off with a fixed budget, fixed number of watches to own, and/or a min or max price of a single piece. It is probably something to think about after we accumulated a certain number of watches, after we gained more knowledge along the collecting journey, changes in taste or circumstance…example- I know a friend who own 3-digit number of watches and counting. Along the way, he sells a few pieces here and there to manage the collection size. I also have a fried who is essentially a one watch guy. He will get a super duper piece and wears it as daily for a couple of years, sell it and move on to the next….he does not collect, to him a watch is meant to be worn daily for leisure, work and sports…
