we have a great system here. because we're out in
the sticks Fedex and UPS use ANC who subcontract to a man in a van. as i'm near
the end of the route, if it gets a past 3pm he doesnt bother coming and then
puts down that there was no reply, card left etc although i've never found a
card.

on one occasion, i phoned fedex after this who
ordered carrier to return as i'd been in all day waiting. i was at home with 2
dogs, wife, 2 kids and my friend and no one knocked on the door, i later found a
card left so he'd sneaked up and put it into letterbox just to P*** me off. he
managed to do that without alerting my dogs which is quite amazing.

i now have a direct line to one of the management
team so if anything is coming to me i phone her and she tracks it herself to
