1940's Chronograph
This is a 38mm rolled white gold case with chronograph function and a Valjoux R22 movement from the company Election.
I just love the lugs on this one! You can't tell from the pictures, but one of my favorite things about this watch is the sound. Winding it is so satisfying and clicky.
But the sound of the seconds running is very audible and it has that seconds ticking sound like in the beginning
of that old TV Show 60 minutes OR the beginning of the older Talking Watches episodes on the Hodinkee Youtube videos lol (For those who know what I'm talking about, it's a very distinct sound)
Just thought I'd share. This pieces doesn't get a HUGE amount of wear time, but when it does, it's such a joy to have on the wrist!
