Ten years is a good stretch of time to live with a watch. It is certainly enough time to tell the keeper from the walk-away. Even if none of my better watches has been with me that long. Ten years is the time that I bought my first "expensive" watch ago. ...

In regard to your early maintenance issues, it is sometimes the ones that give us the most difficulties that we cherish the most. Funny how that happens... Congrats on your posts as well!
