Welcoming a bit of copper to the collection! Meet my new addition: the Laureato 38mm copper dial

Jan 24, 2023,13:20 PM

It is really hard to capture detail properly in pictures and under the sunlight, It’s a totally different colour.   Pretty amazing the colour can range from metallic copper to salmon to brown!  So far love the size (found the 42 too big except for the skeleton model)…first time I wear it so more to come

Feels very different from my other watches which is a good thing for me.  Thanks for looking.  Cheers

Yes, obviously hard to capture but the third shot is spot on! Congrats to your latest catch, dear yacomino!

Thank you dear Count de Monet! Cheers

This is one of the watches I personally prefer on a bracelet, but as one of our resident strap masters, I'm sure you'll come up with some gorgeous strap options for it as well! Enjoy!

😂👍👍

Thanks! 🙏

Thanks Nicolas. I was curious since I am new to GP...

is there a significant difference in performance, if any between caliber 3300 used in this 38mm version and the caliber 1800 used in the 42mm version in your opinion?

No difference at all, IMO.

I think so too. Steel or ceramic?

By: Chronometer (aka yacomino) : January 26th, 2023-22:09

Steel!

 By: amanico : January 26th, 2023-22:21

Was leaning this way as well.

Wempe in the flesh

 By: amarelli : January 24th, 2023-19:03
Had a chance to see this at Wempe the other week. The 38mm is a great size and the feel in person is excellent. I only just became aware of it being designed by Italian architect Adolfo Natalini. ...

Tempted?

Undecided

I have a Journe coming in October and waiting approval on a custom Cartier. Those two will have me fully committed for this year. But it was a lovely piece in person. There is a lot to like about it and appreciating how it would fly a bit more under the r...

+1!

Gorgeous

Lovely color and size. Don’t see the copper version everyday. I lusted after the blue dial for a while. Haven’t had a chance to try it on yet, but very likely the 42 mm option will be a bit too much for my 6.5 inch wrist. Congrats and enjoy!

The blue dial is also great!

By: Chronometer (aka yacomino) : January 26th, 2023-11:03

Congrats, Yacomino!!!🎉🎊🎈🍾

 By: Mach : January 25th, 2023-03:51
This looks absolutely stunning on your wrist! I’ve been dying to see one in the metal. This past weekend I visited two ADs that both had all three dial colors available in the 42mm case size (SS). My guess is that people are patiently waiting to see if GP...

How did you find the 42mm on the wrist?

By: Chronometer (aka yacomino) : January 26th, 2023-11:04

I’ve been tempted multiple times . . .

 By: Mach : January 28th, 2023-18:30
But I’ve been hoping for GP to offer a 48mm Laureato once again! ...

48mm???

 By: amanico : January 28th, 2023-18:41

🤣🤣🤣

The 42mm blue dial or black/grey dial are also nice
