I actually wear this beauty regularly, not just occasionally. Despite its rather unconventional construction, it has proven to be extremely robust and keeps excellent time. In that sense, it is a true daily wearer (even if one wouldn’t necessarily expect it).

Before buying it, I spent quite some time understanding the concept and the movement. Robustness and reliability are always key criteria for me. I don’t buy watches to leave them in a safe or admire them in a display. They have to be worn!

The titanium case has also been impressive. After nearly almost three years of use, it still looks remarkably fresh, with virtually ZERO (!!) signs of wear. It’s a lot tougher than one might assume.

P.S.: I’ll actually be taking it to Watches & Wonders in Geneva and wearing it there - as proof that it’s not just for the display case.

I actually find the watch even more beautiful in real life, too. On photos it also appears quite large on the wrist, which it isn’t in reality. The reflections are very difficult right to capture. I am playing a little bit while sitting in the waiting roo...

GP is indeed two companies in one. The haute horology is a totally different department from the mainstream laureato. In 1988-90, when the GM Francois Besson did a management buy out from DESCO, he brought back the High Horology. When Luigi Macaluso bough...

The newly developed Calibre GP9530 of the Minute Repeater Flying Bridges is just gorgeous! The prize for this watch is crazy (three times more expensive than mine). Is it worth it? A reason to reflect… All the best Thomas
