Expanding the sensory experience beyond just smell and taste just makes me appreciate the incredible talent these chefs possess. Edible art for sure… Peter
Yes indeed…

And even more mind blowing given the last two years eating primarily at home and takeaway. Cheers, Peter
That’s a dream come true!

I would take that over an Omega any day! The memories alone are worth it. As a restaurant owner I know the challenges of coming out with truest great food consistently, what Alinea are doing is nothing short of a miracle. Something to inspire to
Yes the memory is priceless…

And while there are certainly great experiences that can be had with many watches, there are additional neurons firing in multiple dimensions when you experience haute cuisine. Would love to see more photos of your fine restaurants! Certainly pairing well...
Agreed on all your points

Haute cuisine is certainly as rewarding as haute horology or any other art form. My restaurant was opened during COVID and we are short on manpower but I hope to continue to elevate our offerings. We are light years away from Alinea though, that is truly ...

A pretty expensive meal by any standard - but the return on memory and lifetime meaning so much more I am an absolute caveman when it comes to my wine palate - but I recall this to be certainly more Merlot with some tobacco and leather accents - pairing q...

Definitely worth the experience. Upon reviewing the wines post-hoc I realized how equally exquisite some of the wines were to the dishes. Sometimes the variety is as good as getting two bottles for the evening! Cheers, Peter
Happy to share!!

They custom pair each course with unique bespoke dishes - as you can see in one of the courses the glass crabs were selected and made specifically for the course. Just another level of fine art - much to the inspiration of French cuisine I’m sure Cheers P...
