The British love cheese too!

Many artisan & regional varieties in the UK.
But the best cheese platter I ever tasted was in a Paris restaurant (cant remember its name - somewhere near St Germain)
Cheers!

I never say no to a very old piece of Gouda. IMO much better than Parmigiano. Enjoy. Best, Volker

French cheese is better when ripe

The Camembert doesn't look ripe, it should be bulging a little. There was a time in French restaurants when the cheese board came round after the meal, and the cheese was in tip top condition. Now you you often get a plate as in the picture.
Niiice ;).
