I think 10 more years in the cellar and it will be magnificent. Side by side with the 1990 the ‘90 is drinking better now, but in my opinion the 2000 is the better wine and will show remarkably 2028-2050. Strong spine with oak and black fruit and in the background the subtle liquorice, herbs and exotic notes take it to another level. When the tannins sweeten and the colour fades this wine will be extraordinary.
