By my experience Sat. evening, The '89 needed drinking. It wasn't going to get any better.

Of the three bottles I bought, the first one drunk over a month ago, was the weakest. Seemed a tad overdone, loosing its greatness.
These two we had Sat. were very good. Opened an hour before drinking and decanted then.
Cork condition on both was good. Slight leathery aged taste. Fruit soft but still there. Tannins definitely fading.
Yum.

My experience is it takes about 2 to 2.5 hours in a good decanter to bring out its best. To me there is some minor bret ( Brettanomyces) but it seems to be a fashion back in those days. Enjoy!
Wow Bill

Very convenient system

Each wooden case is set on a metallic structure, hence each case becomes a "drawer". No capacity limit in the use of these modules. My cellar is a tight space hence I had to be creative. These products can be found commercially
