Thats quite interesting but I cant help thinking it is coincidence.
I just compared the seconds hand to those on my 2005 Resonance. To the naked eye the difference is tiny.
Mine had the date issue as well but I just lived with it. In the end the watch started to run irregular. I was a bit scared to have it serviced. My main concern was the sub dial as that has a special hue I would love to keep.
Christophe in Paris did a perfect service job on it.

I’m curious to see the texture of the dial. It looks quite granular in the press release.
This is clearly a hommage to the original but it is not an exact copy- can you spot the differences?

I love this one. A small fun detail is that this one was built by Mr Journe Personally. It had its first service last year.

When you finally brought it in for service, did you ask them to preserve as much as possible? That could be why
no, not really.
The only thing I was very strict about was NO polishing. I feel quite strongly about this point!

I didn't ask them to NOT polish. Now I wonder if I have some Platinum that got polished away... But still, it's great you didn't get your seconds hand swapped out. Hope you can continue to keep yours intact for as you keep passing yours down the next 10 g...
