Bigger news for me (this is fantasy..., may as well not have happened) is that the octo automatique will go back into regular production. Don’t like the lune, so big win. Hoping the numerals remain printed not applied - that’s the big question.

I’m curious to see the texture of the dial. It looks quite granular in the press release.
This is clearly a hommage to the original but it is not an exact copy- can you spot the differences?

The only thing I was very strict about was NO polishing. I feel quite strongly about this point!

I didn't ask them to NOT polish. Now I wonder if I have some Platinum that got polished away... But still, it's great you didn't get your seconds hand swapped out. Hope you can continue to keep yours intact for as you keep passing yours down the next 10 g...
