I’ve heard the same thing. As long as you don’t turn the hands backwards for several hours. But let me ask the manufacture next time I talk to them.

The CB movement pseudo hacks apparently, but I personally never risk it. I just start winding mine a couple of seconds before the time at which the watch stopped. This normally gets me within a second or so, which is perfectly fine for me.

The nice people at the FPJ Boutique in NYC assured me there was no harm to it.

All I've read says no damage will be caused, but I totally agree that it doesn't feel right, so I don't do it.
