The elusive “Exit Watch” - at this point of time, I’m actually wishing that there is such a thing. I find myself getting tired of the constant re-editions and marketing bullshit and find myself sticking to wearing just one watch for weeks, and even months, at a time.
This hasn’t shown signs of tapering off, so if I can find that one....and just have one watch to wear everyday and everywhere, this might just be it! We will see.
Like you and Sham1, there are many skeptics! LOL! Me included!

In the meantime, I’m enjoying this one - and I’m pretty certain that I will be for a long time to come. I seldom get this feeling on day 2 of owning a watch, and the only three that has generated this feeling are still with me after all this while.

I like to think almost all my current watches give me a similar feeling and I look forward to seeing the FP Journe at our next GTG!

I’ll still humour you and bring it along! ;-) On a more serious note - that feeling doesn’t hit me often, and it shows as the watches either don’t get worn or eventually get sold or traded.
One cannot put a value

I was wrong for a long time
There are great quartz watches out there which could equate the joy of mechanicals, though not many, I’d say. This is definitely one I think can hold its own.

Remember seeing these at an AD in Naples and was suprised they are quartz....
I do not remember all the details.. is it a true quartz that needs battery? I also thought this was the watch that the time stops but when picked back up and put in motion it goes back to the correct the time.... not sure I explained this very well... -D-...
