One cannot put a value
on a watch that makes you feel a bit special. And more importantly is that the watch makes you feel extra special not just when you first purchase it but months and years later. I too have sold many that felt that they just did not belong. And as you can tell from my zero tolerance, the watch could be pretty new but if it does not belong, it must go. It is a real pity that watches that may attract us in a showroom may not necessarily pass the test of time. I just hope that I do not make too many mistakes from now onwards because this passion of ours can be very expensive!

In the meantime, I’m enjoying this one - and I’m pretty certain that I will be for a long time to come. I seldom get this feeling on day 2 of owning a watch, and the only three that has generated this feeling are still with me after all this while.

I was wrong for a long time
There are great quartz watches out there which could equate the joy of mechanicals, though not many, I’d say. This is definitely one I think can hold its own.

Remember seeing these at an AD in Naples and was suprised they are quartz....
I do not remember all the details.. is it a true quartz that needs battery? I also thought this was the watch that the time stops but when picked back up and put in motion it goes back to the correct the time.... not sure I explained this very well... -D-...
