Sad to hear of your experience...
.. unfortunately, I didn't know what a remontoir was until I read this post, and I'm not a child.
I hope Montres Journe could fix the crown problem for you quickly.
I know how disappointing it feels to have a watch of this calibre and see it fall apart like that. Unfortunately, that's the thing with mechanical watches, sometimes there can be a lemon or 2 in the batch that sneaked out of the assembly line and it is very stressful to run into one of them. Hope you'll get yours sorted out.
