And that goes back to I guess 2012 or so. Alas, it has never happened for me despite other Lange experiments on my side.
The Vagabondage is a far more elegant watch however. That said, I think the ZW is so much more powerful in terms of the visual, not just because it’s bigger, but the layout of the dial and those bigger and more prominent apertures for the discs.
The IWC Pallweber is another. Seeing it at launch almost a decade ago it was a little but “meh” for me. But it was, still is, a very popular watch and one of very few IWC watches that have retained any value on the secondary market. That is probably indicative of your point, there aren’t many options for watches like this.
