this is the final edition of the Resonance, only produced this year. How do you like it? compared to the older versions? I like it more and more. I really like that the subdials are printed in blue and I like the simpler design of of the new dials. In fac...  

It's a nice homage to the original but just not the same...

I think this one is a more realistic take on the watch as a "travel watch watch" than the Parking Meter dial, however.

I can actually understand why he said that when the Resonance came out. The context was that many where sceptical if it worked and no one had seen a Resonance wrist watch before. It would have been too easy to neglect it as just a watch with two time zone... 

However Im beginning to see it as a way to utilize the watch as more of a useful "instrument" rather than the expression of the Resonance phenomenon.

probably we would have liked this version more if it was the predecessor ! I'm more anticipating the 2020 Resonance more in the dial layout + seconds in disc similar to the 'only watch' Best, mahesh.,

I like the earlier dial version as I am not too keen on the light blue numerals. Just me

Firstly, the colours are beautifully chosen and would look great with a white shirt and secondly, having both a 24hour dial and a traditional dial would be very useful for traveling. As for the symmetry, you only see half the dial with a long sleeve shirt... 

The peaking dial is a very cool feature of this watch. when Im in meetings I often use this discrete way of telling time. Hover there is something to the two symmetric dials that I just love so much. They seem to raise the question; "why the hell have two... 

Mine too. that just works so well. its the same for the Minute repeater vs. Chronometre Souverain. when you see them side by side, those blue numbers...;-)

This would be a piece to add if I were completing a resonance set - ie. V1, V2 (parking meter) and V3 shown here. For someone acquiring 'only' one resonance for their collection, the original 38mm is the one to go with in my opinion. This one is quite nic... 

it is somehow not as "iconic" or true to the concept as the orignal. I also think it is meant as such. Lets say around 50 will be produced in the end. Thats more directed at collectors than a piece which is an updated part of a collection. I also agree wi... 

I do however see this model being a highly desirable version in the future due to its unique layout and very limited nature with a one year model run (that sold out very quickly). It's by far the best "travel" version, so will be the one to wear when trav...

I've been a long time reader and love the fact the FP Journe forum is back. I'll try and post a photo or two of some of my special pieces. As for this Resonance, I'm one of those collectors who wanted to complete the set... well, until next year's version... 

I can only say we are extremely happy to have you here. I hope you will post often. I have been considering making such a set also since my love for the Resonance is very big. Have you received your “2019” yet? Yes, next year will be very, very exciting 😃... 

Yes, like you, I love the Resonance, and the movement is what made me realise just how special Mr Journe and the company is.

and you can actually read the tie on the 24H hand. Please post it and tell us about your experiences with it when you have had time to enjoy it. br Christian

that this piece has something going for it that the "parking meter" didnt. (The Parking meter was fun) I think this is a proper attempt to improve on the dials while insisting that the 24/12 configuration is repeated and to be taken serious. The way I see... 

with '0' being on top and '40' on the bottom drives me crazy. FPJ isn't the only one who does it but is a big offender. 'Full' should be shown on top. This is common sense. The way it's presented here is counter-intuitive.

of navigational chronometers. I believe you would use a reading of how many hours since last wind, as part of calculating your position. (PLS dont shoot me for not being able to give you the proper explanation. I understood it once but I happily forgot a ... 

I will look into it. But, to me, it still makes no sense when reading it at-a-glance. Some manufacturers do it the "correct" way. Even FPJ gets it right on some dials : )
