The beauty of the silver racing dial
Some fresh pics of my trusted Daytona that I chose to wear now for some time. To me the silver racing dial with its red accents is a rare beauty and I find it much more attractive in person than in those sales pictures you can find on the web.
When I purchased the watch the AD had this version and the black racing dial available and I immediately fell for this one. Not sure which one is more appreciated nowadays - at that time (2006) the majority went for the black dial as far as I remember. It is a keeper and I also prefer this whole setup to the Platona whenever I look at both.

there seem to be two versions of this dial: yours and mine are different
with the indices at 3, 6 and 9. yours are lengthy and mine are square
oh yeah!!!
That's interesting!!! Didn't know there are diff versions of it. I got it in 2006 from a Rolex authorized dealer in Singapore.
I got mine at the same time also with the lengthy indices
but some years later my dial became yellow at one edge of the dial and Rolex replaced it for free with this one
