Omega Constellation Sedna Gold

I had the chance to see at Basel the Omega Constellation Sedna Gold.

I must confess that the current Constellation collection is not mu cup of tea and I feel the same with this watch.

This Constallation Sedna Gold features a 38mm diameter case and the in-house 8501 movement.

Each time I speak about the Constellation collection here in Paris, staff members of the boutiques tell me: "you know, the Constellation collection is made for Asia. Asian people love it!". I've heard this sentence hundreds of times. Do you agree with it or is it an urban legend?

... I like the dial, but not crazy about the case. Nothing wrong with the gold color, IMO. I think the case just needs to be a little more understated, so the dial can stand out more. But that's just one man's opinion. gatorcpa

I don't think the love for contemporary Constellation is Asia-wide.

I think it is more limited to few but large markets like China and Japan. I don't see the love for contemporary Constellation at all in Thailand, for example. And when I asked the boutiques or ADs here in Bangkok, they would say most Constellation buyers ...
