Lange ZeitWerk, Here it is
This is a strong watch, made in Platinum, White Gold, Yellow Gold or Rose Gold.
The case is 41, 9 mm big for 12,6mm heigh, which gives it some nice volumes.
The movement is a new one, the Cal L 043.1, a 3/4 plate, decorated and finnished " ala Lange " which means a lot, with a "force constante " escapement , beating at 18 000 vph.
What is equally important is the purpose of the watch: An original reading of the Hour, inspired from the Past ( Grande Date ).
Here, we have a Jumping Hour and Minutes, coupled to a conventionnal second counter ( zero reset, of course ).
The layout of the dial enhances the specificity of this watch, with a kind of bridge between the jumping hours and minutes.
A bridge between Tradition and Modernity?
Some will love, others will hate, but you can't stay undifferent in front of such a piece.

Cant find one anywhere for love nor money!!!!!!!!! They sell quicker than hot cakes outside a weight watchers club.

What I heard so far ...
prices are "close" to the prices of the Dato in the different metals. YG is the cheapest, then RG+WG and on the top PT. Hope this info is ok with the forum rules. If not - delete. Oliver

Just a correction for our friends out there, the small seconds hand is NOT zero-reset, it's just a normal stop seconds ( hacking seconds). WOnder if you meant the 1st one but miswrote it for the 2nd. Cheers Stephen

not ugly but not very beautifull. When speaking of watches I'm an old fart so this might be too modern for me. But give me some months and let me see one before I'll make my final judgement

they create a perfect symmetric watch but why do we have a screw at the right side of the hours and something like a gold chaton at the left side ot the minutes ? Couldn't they use 2 screws or 2 chatons ?

Agree on all counts!
The 160 was somewhat polarizing aesthetically as well when introduced, but has surely been accepted over time. It is a legend for UN, and I believe the ZW will be for Lange as well.
