Just parted with my Sub
The consolidation continues : 114060, my longest watch in service. The one I told myself would be the last to go. I’d been debating this for several months now. At the end of the day, it just wears too bulky and blocky on my 7 inch wrist. Therefore was not being worn, and brought me less joy than my other pieces. It took me years , but I’ve slowly learned and realized I like the *idea* of the Sub more than the watch itself in everyday practice. No regrets and I don’t expect there to be. In the future if I ever decide to add it back, they are plentiful, and it will likely be the 14060. Was time for me to move on… It was part of a multi watch trade . I get it. With watches I have decided if they’re not being worn, they need to be moved on to someone who can actually wear and enjoy, rather than just sitting neglected in the watch box

I also like to consolidate at some point and to part with some pieces will be difficult but hope like you that it will be also a multi watch trade then so you know its worth doing.

Initially, the thought of parting was difficult. But when it doesn’t get any wrist time. It confirms the decision was the correct one. It’s only been a day, but so far so good, it was worth it for the new incoming 🙂
