I give AP a lot of credit for this accomplishment, especially because of how it was initially received.
But they stuck with it and cracked the code to make it successful…and they keep improving.

I frequently dream of another. I wish I could afford one of the tourbillons. The hole in the dial goes so well with the skeletal lugs.
Yes the case is beautiful.
The central ceramic section is somehow pivotal as it makes the taller wearing case seem much more slimmer. I’m dreaming a starwheel, but it’s a dream for now.

Hope you can get yours soon Nico. I couldn’t try it on metal but I tried another code with central ceramic section and it wears beautifully, also so modern and such a breath of fresh air.

But at the AP House, among others they offered for me to try the code chronograph and the ceramic section definitely helps. Here some photos At the time they told me that the starwheel can’t be a first watch but I’m not interested in a RO and how many cod...
Sure but there are other more urgently
needed watches first… So many watches to buy and so little time ( and money of course) 🥹
Many of the case details are not apparent from photos.
I was at first not impressed at all but when I had a chance to handle one, I was sold.
I have been offered a similar code last year .
Really like this one but never pulled the trigger.
1159s have caught my eyes as well recently
I very much desire the little brother of that very piece! The beige is lovely - I hope they will introduce more colours in 38mm soon!
