MichaelC's initial hands-on with the Audemars Piguet CODE 11.59 chronograph offers a crucial early perspective on a collection that sparked considerable debate. His appreciation for the structural design of the case, a hallmark of the CODE 11.59, highlights a key element often overlooked in initial photographic impressions. This article synthesizes community reactions, providing a balanced view of the collection's polarizing debut and its potential for future evolution.

It's definitely one to see and handle in person. M4
I strongly plan to add the time only version to my collection. I definitely love the case/sapphire construction : none of the other "big" players has anything comparable. Next time I will be in Paris I will visit the boutique to see the watch in person. Still cannot understand all these initial negative comments from people that never handled the watch.
Look forward to your thoughts on this collection.
One of the most comical aspects of a watch community, we have seen it time and time again (example, the Juan Pablo Montoya). The comments have so much conviction, yet the product has not been examined up close. Laughable, but they attach their name to it, so that is their stance. Back to this collection, do stop by the Paris Boutique and try one out. I would enjoy reading your thoughts. I understand new references will launch this year, particularly complicated movement models.
The shitstorm was never about the quality it was about it's release and the poor design. That's something you can judge without handling the subject in person.
Where negativity, there positivity. Balanced like Yin and yang. The truth is somewhere in the middle.
