In this insightful post, quattro spotlights the Audemars Piguet Code 11.59 in Burgundy, reference 15210BC.OO.A500KB.01, a model that has garnered significant discussion since its release. quattro, a self-proclaimed 'colored gold guy,' delves into the specific design elements that make this particular Code 11.59 iteration so compelling, challenging initial criticisms of the collection. His detailed observations invite readers to reconsider the aesthetic merits of this distinctive timepiece.

A number of the early Codes were appealing to me, but I don’t know why AP didn’t produce them in steel till much later. A more affordable steel option may have made it more accessible and appealing from the start. But I digress. A beautiful piece indeed.
But I also like it as it is. And I personally like it that it's white gold and not steel (just my preference of course).
