First Doxa Searambler wristshot
As described in the January harvest thread (here: www.watchprosite.com for the full harvest), I am as of recently the proud owner of one of the Anniversary Doxa dive watches, namely the Searambler.
I had the bracelet adjusted in the meantime and as Cpt Scarlet requested the other day, here’s the first wristshot.
The only question I am still asking myself is why have I waited so long 😉

Its similar in shape to a Patek Ellipse, and like a Rado Diastar.
But definitely superior, a tool watch. The Patek is a dress watch. So its very different. My observation. Cheers, good divers. 👍 Geross

I think the Doxa always looks so much better on the wrist. It fits you perfectly. It’s a watch waiting for the next adventure !

Don’t know if you remember but when they came out and we were discussing them in a thread (Professional, Shark Hunter, Searambler), I opined that the Searambler might be the dark horse of the lot. Turns out that’s the one I got 😉

. . . a vintage Doxa instead? I've posted this one more than a few times . . . it belongs to a friend who's a former USN diver. It was gifted to him by Jean Michel Cousteau. And he received it from his father. ;-) ...

... enjoy a classic Divers watch even if you wish to take them down to do the intended job. Though we usually associate this watch with the orange dial, I find the Searambler as as the most elegant option among the three colors of dials which Doxa offers....

The crystal - is it doomed? The distorsion around the edges indicates that. Guess if I fail to find a good original Searambler…. This would be a great alternative! Best Blomman

Just like the original - a very accurate re-issue in that sense 👍🏻 Which gives it a very vintage feel...
