The first time I saw a Breguet was at lunch in a hotel in the Black Forest. A stylishly dressed woman rose from the table next to ours and I immediately noticed what I later identified as a 39mm watch from the Classique line. Although I didn’t start out to focus on Breguet, the cases, hands, numerals and dials resonate with me in a way like no other brand. I’m constantly finding details I haven’t noticed previously and the variety of the catalogue is a source of aspiration.
One observation, each of my timepieces with the exception of the Tradition is no longer in the catalogue. With the recent addition of the Tradition, I fear its days are numbered.
