But the Up/Down is more comfortable on the wrist vs the first gen.

I know, I know. A Ferrari is not very comfortable, but I would happily trade a Skoda for it. :)

The dato is exceptional but somehow most Lange leave me cold Breguet is more romantic, has more charm

The Breguet is lovely and poetic, but I am more teutonic so I would go for the Datograph. And to make matters worse I prefer this second generation, with the useful power reserve, over the first generation. All the best, Jon

I own both this Breguet and 1st gen Dato. Both are lovely, but Dato feels another level to me.
