Berneron Mirage 38/34

Yesterday, following what felt like an eternity, I took delivery of the Berneron Mirage 38/34. It is nothing like any watch I have ever owned. The fit and finish far exceed any other watch that I have handled. And it is abundantly clear that every last detail was scrutinized.
I will share more thoughts later. The experience of wearing the Mirage is unlike anything that I have worn. Your brain expects symmetry in a watch and it is jarring to look down at a seemingly amorphous shape. But, simultaneously, the shape makes sense. The watch has a fluidity to it that it feels in motion. Adding to that, the watch is impossibly thin - thinner than my Octo. If Laurent Ferrier has a case that resembles a pebble. The Mirage has a case that resembles a pebble that has been further eroded into something nearly wafer thin.
The Mirage is a horological wonder.
