Interestingly, and you probably know this, but Sylvain let the mechanics “break free,” ie, let the mechanics be shaped by the attributes that he was looking for in a watch (72 hour power reserve, large balance, etc.), then designed the case around the misshapen movement. It would be great to see more watchmakers exercise the passion and conviction of Sylvain. However, we humans are risk averse and often lack confidence - this is one of those situations where someone caught lightning in a bottle.
Hopefully they can sort it out and get everything back in alignment when you send it in for its first service. LOL
