Yesterday I had the opportunity to handle 2 watches from the Cyclos collection.
The main feature of these watches is a very interesting complication: the ability to get a 24 hours dial but with the same display as it was a 12 hours dial.
Using the crown, it's fascinating to see how the hour hand moves with the flow of time.
It follows the line of hours indicator which has the shape of the Pascal's spiral.
The mechanism of the hour hand is so complex that it took 10 years to John C. Ermel to develop it. Robert Greubel and Stephen Forsey made the prototypes and built the mechanism.
Thanks to this system, we get true AM/PM or day/night watches.
For example, it's 10AM:
and 10PM:
The caliber which powers the specific system is based on a classic ETA2892-A2:
The finishings are excellent and the design is quite classic:
A very nice watch to wear:
My fav one is the Transparent because you are able to see a part of the hour system:

For me, this Cyclos collection was a nice surprise. And it's a good way to buy a watch in which Greubel&Forsey were involved without selling your flat...
