22d of September 2012 / 22d of September 2015: 3 years behind the P 1800 steering wheel.
Yes, already three years, since the first day I drove my P 1800 back from Amsterdam:
To this day.
Three years of trips, work, holidays, good moments, and also some small issues, but nothing compared to the pleasure this Volvo gave me, or should I say, gave US, as this was, is and will certainly be a family project.
Three years, and 27 000 Kilometers done.
A mega road trip to Italy, Slovenia and Croatia.
Another road trip to South of France:
In Normandy:
In the center of France:
In Belgium and Netherlands, past year.
In Bourgogne:
Always alive and kicking, everywhere:
And in many other places.
As I said, I had very few mechanical issues, with this P 1800E, and it always had the good taste to happen in... Gaz Stations! 
The funnt thing is that my 10 years old daughter loves that one so much that she always prefer to travel with the P 1800 rather than with the more comfortable C 70 T5.
At a point that she told me she wanted that car for her, later...
Long life to the P 1800, and to many many more years.

Lovely pictures, and kudos for using it properly - i.e. being driven properly and lots. Children seem to connect much better to old cars, wonder why that is. And as said in the title, only taking care of it for the next generation, right?

Like watches, the mechanical nature of a car and the human interaction (more than a watch of course), ultimately creates some emotion. The fact that they take us wonderful places is also part of their charm. Hope she has a long life... Dave
