1019 tribute
I am hardly ever a fan of aftermarket modifications. However on pictures this one looks quite promising. Curious to hear sentiment here among the PuristPro community.
Brushed links, replaced hands, modified dial, numbered case backs. On a modern Milgauss to make for what to me looks like a great looking and reliable regular piece.
Would be cooler of course if Rolex made its own release but does not seem to be their thing to do for now.
Opinions?

They modify a brand-new, modern, easily-available Milgauss. So no damage done to a rare and wonderful piece. Best E.

The original 1019 is amazing, but I see nothing wrong with a modern tribute. This black version of the 1019 is quite cool. Perhaps pricing is steep, but the value proposition is a different topic! First like or not like, then look at price. Otherwise mind...

Ones for life is a tough call. 80+% of aftermarket modifications I have seen are not that well done or good looking to me. Many reasons they are hard to sell are also because they look quite extreme. Thinking of Bamford who makes a lot of cool looking yet...

....i don't buy a watch with the question of blending in or standing out as a consideration. The issue for me isn't about. More like....would i buy a kit car of a Ferrari or not? For me...not.

Didn\'t have the guts to do it yet. But this modified Milgauss actually looks pretty nice.

re-polished. The polished center links wud converge with the brushed ones sometime in my life.

The watch looks nice, it is a different interpretation of Rolex. Why not get it and enjoy it if it looks good to YOU. Not to buy it just because one day you may want to sell it with nobody being interested doesn't make sense to me as long as it hasn't cos...

But of course you have had the modifications done only for you and I'm sure you love it. As others have said it is now unsellable, can't be traded or even serviced by Rolex but of course you know that. Yours, Andy.
I prefer vintage or tribute from manufacture
not modification for sure. That's only my taste. Finally, decision is yours my friend
