I received my first Milgauss 1019 yesterday! After many years of ignoring this reference, I had realized the discreet qualities of this watch recently and was very happy when the opportunity to get one arose. Now I only have to make up my mind: shall I keep the black dial or install the silver dial that came with it, too...

I too am on the hunt for such a reference. And for many years, now. I think I prefer the silver dial. If in top condition with some nicely patinated hands and dots, it is just irresistible. But the black ain't bad looking, either! Bravo, my friend, bravo!...

I think it fits right in with your theme even though your current collection pictured above all have turning bezels. But the Milgauss is still a sports model. Best Bill

Thank you for your nice comment! You actually nailed the reason I why I had hesitated to buy a 1019 up until recently: you cannot "do" anything with it! No chrono, no turning bezel - just a "boring" three hand watch without a date! And what a price they c...
The Milgauss has it place for sure
It just takes a little bit of an open mind to see the technical aspects. Just be careful next you will be hind the thunder seconds hand milgauss... Ouch!!! on the pocket book. Bill
