Company (BAPCO), it was acquired from an employee who already had a Day-Date

. This was my sole watch for over fifteen years, and foolishly parted with in the process of acquiring my first Glashütte Original, way back when.
I've never had one since. Flirted with the Milgauss when it was introduced, but never truly close to pulling the trigger. Miraculously, the one vintage Rolex that's long been a personal favorite, the VeriFlat (ref 6512), popped up locally a few years ago . . .
