Interestingly it is Cartier, the brand that is probably least discussed here, that appears to me to have made the most efforts to come up with original design ideas over the past 10-12 years, in keeping with its more than 100-year history of pushing the boundaries of wristwatch design. Sure, not all of what Cartier has brought to market over the past 10-12 years was a success, but at least they are taking risks and seem to have a desire to offer new designs.

Yes I agree the bracelet resemblance to the Gen 1 Overseas, which is not really a bad thing.

Same copycat watches all over again, blue dial still case . Cliche ! . I get that a “sports “ watch has to meet certain criteria but come on .... Okay , I’m just thinking loud.
It’s been a trend the recent years and people seem to like it.

I completely agree with your point as it’s an unfortunate fact . I was just wondering why none of the famous houses have the courage to break the rules .

Despite being similar to other watches...
I like the design. I can see the resemblance to the St Moritz. The only eyesore is the date window. I don't understand the angle.
The angle is retained from the revised version of the St Moritz, in 1998.
The same too for the lumed appliqués on the dial.
