Chopard Quattro Spirit
Continuing my tale of irresponsibility, at this year's W&W Ken Koshiyama showed me their wonderful Quattro Spirit with a black enamael dial. To say I was knocked out would be an understatement.
For me it embodied many of the virtues I look for in a watch:
Simple and legible
Elegent
Rare
Enamel dial
And that certain sprinkle of magic that's hard to define.
What's a chap to do when faced with such overwhelming desireability? Resistance is futile, so I did what any of us addicts would when faced with such magnetic attraction,,,,, I succumbed and ordered one!
Mea culpa, mea maxima, I'm guilty of watchpassion in the first degree.
When I took delivery I was flabbergasted to receive S/N 001! What an honour to receive such a fabulous watch and 001. Thank you Ken and all at team Chopard!!
I have had it for about two weeks, the time keeping is outstanding. It is a joy to wear.
The other thing is the lovely case shape, it's sort of plump (I can't think of a better word to describe it), the sides are convex which gives it an organic feel. I tried (and in my view failed) to show them in the pics.

I love the dial, black enamel, the jumping hour, the fonts, so nice. The size at 40x10 is great, powerhouse manual window movement. I think if platinum would be spectacular, but that would add to an already spectacular price. Thanks for sharing

I couldn't be more happy for you. And that you got nĀ° 1 is absolutely wonderful. One thing you will probably enjoy very much is this discreet hourly "click" of the jumping hour disc, like the shutter of a camera, which can be heard whenever in a quiet env...
