I’ve read of several failed recoveries over the years, so I’m not super optimistic, but we’ll see.
As it is, the watch remains in the possession of the Beijing police. I’m hoping that reason will prevail.
If anyone has experience with the Hong Kong used watch market, I’m looking for a little information on the dealer who commissioned the watch at the auction. I’m hoping the dealer can be reasoned with, and that we can simply work out a deal between the two of us.
If not, I’ll just keep working with the London Metro Police. If anyone has any contacts there who might be able to help push things along, I’d appreciate that as well.

It's not an easy watch to hide
sneakattack, Deep sympathies! However, there are not many platinum L.U.C 150 and as it is a piece unique, it will be difficult to service or hide. Did you inform Chopard After Sales department? Regards, MTF
