Most likely at the restaurant I was eating dinner. It's one of those things where I never worried about such an action before. I don't want to say I'll worry about it now, but at the very least, it's in the back of my mind.
Update: The Beijing officer indicated that despite the criminal incident report, it looks like in China, it's "finder's keepers". That being said, the consigner was a watch reseller from Hong Kong, and there is still a chance I can get a favorable ruling. Worst case, I have the consigner's information and hopefully can work something out with them.

It's not an easy watch to hide
