Guy did go on to say in his reply to our questions … “ Understanding that we cannot please everyone all the time – in this case those readers who are looking for white-painted hands, I hope that these answers will be of some use in explaining the thoughts behind this model.”
I think we are going to have to wait to see the finished watch. As I said elsewhere, the rounded and faceted components of the hands should reflect light. Hopefully Chopard have achieved the right balance of legibility and style here.

Thanks... I agree. In terms of longevity and color coding separation of feature, a platinum cased version of this watch with white dial, white metal time hands and crown, and rose gold chrono hands and pushers would be very nice.
