As for the Reverso - I am sure the original purpose was as described but I can hardly imagine it actually being used and worn that way without the risk of grievous harm, should it actually have a close encounter with the ball, or be worn on the striking wrist 😊

Agree fully on the date placement and execution. The only advantage of the 2020 version is that the date doesn’t play silly tricks like here 😊😉

I originally bought my Cartier de Pasha 2308 18k white gold watch on a white gold deployant with a diamond minute track and cabouchon on the crown guard for my mother but she found it was too big and heavy for her. So I have ended up keeping it for myself...

My first luxury watch was a two-tone Pasha-c
On bracelet. The Pasha C had Eta 2892 movement instead of GP 3000 in the larger Pasha at that time. The one I still want is the Pasha chronograph with FP 1185 caliber. Maybe one day.
No I don't. I traded it plus cash for a Rolex 16710 Coke in early 2000's
when 16710 could be had for less than $2500 at that time. Unfortunately i don't have the rolext either anymore.
Oh, I was referring to Cartier's made for the Pasha story as hopefully not being mere marketing blurb,
