To My Tastes
the gold 5817 with the leather band has such a nice understated elegance that it's a fine all around watch. For me the bracelet they use on the 5817 would be a little too showy in gold. But I also see that the bracelet may be more practical for you.
At any rate, this model is a fine design. I'm glad you enjoy your's. I certainly am enjoying mine.
