I had this one once.
Gorgeous movement. But tourbillons aren’t magical to me. Make sure that that complication alone will satisfy you.

Lugs apart, I love Breguets
and its wide selection of tourbillons, the 5317 being no exception! That 5 day power reserve was quite something in its day and still is actually. The engraved movement is a huge plus and I will not even mention the dial
Stunning movement
Very balanced dial. If the goal is to own a tourbillon this is the classic example. I think there are other Breguet references that are more graceful with more complicated guilloche but this is definitely a serious presence on the wrist. I wouldn't say no...
At 66%off, still decided to pass.
Won't see that deal again, but it's not the watch for me. Not a buy and flip person either.
I just deeply imagine what it will be like, and if it's disappointing then I don't go ahead.

I’m much more hesitant now, before pulling the trigger. It has to be a burning desire to own it, before I buy it. There are so many watches that I like - but I’m not sure they would make me a happier person. Ownership is an other issue.
